HI, I AM DEDO. HERE IS MY STORY.
As we know fast fashion is developing faster these days and people keep on changing their style without knowing themselves properly. Most of them, wear things only for the approval of others’ opinions even if it doesn’t suit them.
Unsuitable with that, I decided to create my style. Bringing back examples of clothing characteristics like in the 19th era, when hats became one of the standard features of clothing that were strong and enlivened the wearer’s character. whoever it is.
Of course, it’s not easy to revive the hat trend in Indonesia, especially since I live in Bali, and the weather conditions are not suitable to use this hat material for daily.
Sorounded by people who don’t see what I see. Mocking my dreams for what I believe, makes everything seems so wrong. Also I don’t have much support that time.
It put me in the “Hungry stomach and empty pockets-situation”, that teach me best lesson. But, I do not believe in, taking right decisions. All I know is take decisions and make them right.
So, I pull out all the stops. Making hats every single day. Trial and error. A lot of mistakes. Make headway day by day. Till the hat blend with me, and quiet enough to describe who I am. With ever-increasing quality. The hats I make grab attention, go on trend and sell themselves. Gratefully, the business also have its way.
I use every social media, to discover lessons about making hats to improve my self everyday and get down to business. I learned every single day both ways.
So by my persistence since 2015, for all the sleepless nights, for all doubt and fear, for all the exhausting days of thinking about how to make it happen. I stand today, presenting to you, my masterpiece, dedoreppy™ custom hatworks.
